Subjectivity

“Travel is very subjective. What one person loves, another loathes.”

Robin Leach

I must admit, there are days when I loathe Tokyo. It’s such an overwhelming city which often gets to be too much. Yet when I’m presented with stunning sites like this one today in Shibuya, I’m charmed all over again. Throw a glass of sparkling wine in the mix and I’m suddenly back in my happy place.

Japan is one of my favorite cities, but one must break it down as the sum of its parts are overwhelming. Look for the small things in its immenseness and you will find constant joy and surprise…

  6. This is so true!! I find there are days that the things I usually love about a new place are driving me up the wall….but after a while I will appreciate the small differences again! Tokyo is definitely one of those places, I cant wait to return for another visit someday. Enjoy!!
