About

Hello fellow bloggers,

I’m a 21 year old English teacher who can’t quite say where home is yet. I’m originally from Australia but in the last 3 years I’ve lived in 4 different countries and have had the opportunity to visit many more. I have this problem of falling in love with a new place too quickly and becoming addicted to thought of living there forever, but then I discover another place.

My interest is languages, my passion is travel and my hope is that I’m never cured of this travel bug because there’s too much to see in this world. If you have any travel advice, I’d love to hear it. If you have any questions, ask away.

I’m really enjoying your blog. Some excellent photos and text. Glad you like “in search of unusual destinations”, by the way! Phil.

  11. Enjoy Japan! It’s a wonderful country, and have fun exploring the entirety of it. Traveling will somehow help you find your grounding – it’s perfectly OK to be a wanderer. Adventures make the best stories! Keep up the writing – I’m going to enjoy going through past posts. Thank you :)

  12. Dang, based on this “about”, we have a lot in common :)

Haha thanks! I’m just glad that there are a few others out there that aren’t afraid to step out of their comfort zone and do something cool! Most of my friends and family think my stories are fascinating and interesting and crazy, and then at the end of the story they say, “wow I could never do that!”

Hey, how are you teaching english at such a young age!? Thats such a fantastic job i think, because its super flexible. Im nineteen and im about to go traveling through Europe, so im just starting up my adventures now – any advice you wanna share with me haha, one traveler to another

    :)

    • It was a little hard to get this job but not because of my age, more because I either had no experience or was not an EU citizen (originally I wanted to work in Europe).
Advice for Europe? If you get the chance to do something amazing but you didn’t plan it, throw your plans out the window and just do it! Also travelling through Europe by train is expensive, flying is much cheaper…as long as you’re willing to fly Ryanair :) where are you going?

Awesome! Travel on! What is that saying.. “life is like a book and if you’ve never traveled you’ve only ever read one page.” I guess you have read the encyclopedia! Cheers!
